GENERAL
- Quests - Players should once again be able to get the keys for quests in Trickster's Haven
- Quests - Movin' on Up - Vials of Corruption and Living Flames should once again be dropping. Players who currently have the quest will need to abandon it and re-accept it.
- Coding - Adjusted garbage collection frequency, this should result in less visual flashing
- Coding -Tombstones should no longer form under the world
- Bard Invis - We are working on addressing the issue and in the meantime we have a simple work around. The issue only occ ...

Vanguard Build 2064 Patch Notes June / 26 / 2008
GENERAL
- Invis/Stealth should no longer cancel when you leave combat
- Time Trick 2 should now work correctly
- PC summoning spells should now work correctly
- Swamp armor leg component NPC’s respawn timer has been fixed
- Gorgalok, Ichtakhta, and Flordiel faction rewards have been lowered for most lower level and mid-level work orders. The new faction amounts are as follows:
Level 10: 25
Level 20: 75
Level 30: 200
Level 40: 350
Level 50: 500

Santa's Elves Play Vanguard!

New players were beginning to flock to Vanguard: Saga of Heroes before, but new and old players are coming to the game in droves right now thanks to the reactivation of old accounts. With all the new and returning players comes a flood of questions through the regional chat these days. Some people are helpful, some are obnoxious, and even more others fall somewhere in between. Where do you think you fall in the scale?

Some players enjoying listening to the regional chat, while others turn it off completely. Even those that don't keep it turned on can still be called upon to answer questions if they come up in a list of "/who all" by a curious player looking for some answers with their chosen class.

Spell levels 26-50 finish off the Dread Knight this week. Over 100 spells were updated with this batch!

Get Ready For MEST!

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but the tide appears to be changing for the better. Word has been spreading throughout the gaming community of the massive improvements that have been made to the game over the last year and a half and as a result, players have been flocking back to the game.

In an effort to give even more players a chance to see the improvements for themselves, SOE has reactivated all accounts were cancelled at least 60 days prior to the free period's start. The free play period comes to a close July 31st, 2008, so get in gear and walk the lands of Telon once again!

Vanguard has been experiencing some much-deserved positive buzz, which is not only the result of improvements to the game, but also a testament to our amazing community who certainly do their part to get the word out!

Here's our part! FREE game time! Those who had previously played Vanguard, but cancelled over 60 days ago for whatever reason, should find their accounts reactivated from June 26 th , 2008 until July 31 st 2008

Infomap Update!

The InfoMap Advanced team has been hard at work and have made some improvements to an already impressive map mod for Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Arguably one of the most useful UI mods available, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

An essential update for the InfoMap UI mod, required for the new map functionality contained in the latest patch. Interactive maps of the raiding dungeon Ancient Port Warehouse have been added, and a direct link to the full PoI maps on Soresha.net is now available via the ingame web browser.Also contains new terrain maps from Cobal and new data layers.
